2025 Sandy River Slam
What is the Sandy River Slam?
The Sandy River Slam is a Steelhead fishing tournament conducted on the Sandy River. The tournament will consist of four different "one week legs" during which tournament fishing may occur.
When does the tournament take place?
Tournament legs will be conducted from December to March.

Who is eligible to participate?
The Slam is open to any full-time student grades 9-12 attending one of the following schools - Barlow, Centennial, Corbett, Gresham, Open Door, Parkrose, Reynolds, and Sandy. Participating students must be meeting minimum OSAA eligibility requirements.
Awards and Prizes?
Each leg winner will receive $100 and the participant with the most total length over all legs will receive $500. Participants will receive a raffle ticket when they enter and one for each subsequent fish they enter during all four legs. A raffle for selected items will be conducted at the conclusion of the event.
